Photography FAQ
When will we receive our photos?
Your full wedding gallery will be delivered within 3–4 weeks. I take time to carefully curate and hand-edit every image so your photos feel polished, timeless, and true to your day. You can expect a small preview shortly after your wedding so you can relive those first beautiful moments right away.
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR DESTINATION WEDDINGS?
I'm based in Staunton Virginia but I love to travel for love. Whether your celebration is across the country or abroad, I'm happy to follow your story wherever it takes you.
ARE THE TRAVEL EXPENSES INCLUDED IN YOUR PACKAGES?
Travel within 30 miles of my home base is included in all my packages. For destinations beyond that, travel is quoted separately to ensure a seamless and stress-free experience.
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BOOK, AND WHAT HAPPENS IF WE NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE?
A signed contract and retainer are required to officially reserve your date Because wedding dates are limited and once reserved cannot be rebooked and retainers are non-refundable. If your plans change, I will always do my best to accommodate a reschedule when possible, so your investment is protected.
EVENT DECORATION FAQ
Do you offer both photography and decorating for the same event?
Absolutely! That's actually what makes Mukar unique. You can book photography only, decorating only, or both together for a seamless experience.
What types of events do you decorate?
I specialize in intimate, romantic events including proposals, intimate dinners, birthday celebrations, bridal showers and tablescapes. Whether it’s a candlelit dinner for two or a styled birthday celebration, I bring your vision to life with intentional and beautiful design.
Do you provide the decorations or do I need to supply them?
All décor and styling elements are provided by MUKAR Photography & Events. From linens and candles to silk florals and personalized signage, everything is taken care of so you can simply show up and enjoy the experience. Custom requests are always welcome during your consultation.
How far in advance should I book my event decoration?
For intimate events like proposals and dinners I recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance to allow time for planning, sourcing and designing your perfect setup. For larger celebrations like birthdays and bridal showers 4–6 weeks is ideal. Last minute bookings may be accommodated based on availability — don’t hesitate to reach out!
